Synopsis:
Given XML data, develop a visual store locator that shows all reseller locations on a map of the U.S.
|
Results:
Using the Google Maps API, XML, XSL, and Javascript, this reseller locator zooms into a particular location and displays the business name, address, and phone number by clicking on the icon.
On mouseover the icon displays city and state in IE.

Synopsis:
Provide web-based graphic tools to visually summarize key sales objectives and pipeline status based on data within CRM database.

Results:
Displays actual revenue vs goals, year over year comparisons, and pipeline status and history of each deal. Sales executives can evaluate team performance, ensuring that sales personnel continue to nurture new deals to keep their pipeline full, but focus the majority of their energy on closing mature deals.

Synopsis:
NEC wanted to control costs by minimizing demand on its call center from channel partners and business customers while simultaneously improving customer service. The Enterprise Business Portal project had to enable customers, channel partners, and key business partners to interact easily and conveniently with NEC business processes on-line.

Completed B2B portal supports business processes, product training, and supply chain management data to more than 1100 channel partners, business partners, and customers.

Completed in 1998, this document served as the basis for a presentation given to the Texas State Legislature's session on Computers in Education where I was invited to speak as an industry expert on future technology. The paper also acted as a catalyst for development of a prototype tablet PC.

This is admittedly a no-frills Windows .NET application, but returns the Amazon.com price for a book based an International Standard Book Number (ISBN)..
Because this program uses .NET and the Common Language Runtime, the Microsoft .NET Framework must be installed on your computer to run this application.
The Microsoft .NET Framework Command Language Run-Time (CLR) is to .NET applications as the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is to J2EE.
